Abuelas de Plaza de Mayo, together with the National Ministry of Education, Science, and Technology, produced this collection that includes six books, with stories from seven authors, a video, and an educational booklet. These materials are meant to initiate dialog with the students regarding fundamental issues such as memory and the right to an identity.

One of its objectives is to spread awareness of decisions that are important in terms of consolidating human rights in Argentina, not only for lawyers but also for citizens in general who tend to lack access to information on legal proceedings and activities

From 2003 to 2006, the European Union supported Abuelas' Center for Attention to the Right to an Identity in the establishment of an Extension Program of the University of Buenos Aires' Psychology Department. As part of this project, the Center for Attention to the Right to an Identity hosted a seminar called "Psychoanalysis: Restitution, Appropriation, Kinship". This book is a compilation and expansion on the materials presented at this seminar.

This educational booklet for junior-high and high-school students, which is included with the video "Starting Point", is the result of a joint effort between Abuelas de Plaza de Mayo and the National Ministry of Education, Science and Technology. This is only the first of many steps to build strong civil values and prevent the existence of an atmosphere that enabled these horrific events to occur; horrific events that we have suffered and whose consequences we continue to endure.

This volume contains court decisions and rulings from 1988 to 2001 related to issues such as compulsory genetic testing, kinship, adoption annulment, statue of limitations, and the responsibility of the State pursuant to the provisions stated in international law and treaties.
